A commission I did at FWA for Dorral and Jack’s ponysonas. My client came through and scanned it in.
What have I done…
It’s up on my store as shirts, stickers and prints/posters and postcards: http://www.redbubble.com/people/buttercupsaiyan/works/10047906-tiarawhy-cryboner-shirt
Ah, well, maybe a postcard you can send to either a really good friend or a really hated enemy ;)
They went to Hot to Trot and Merry Go Round, if such a product were to exist and now that sales are long past, but are no longer available in the shop.
So I guess it’s fine to post these now since it won’t result in any losses.
At the time I pulled out all the stops to make these and they are some of my favorite images to boot. Even the time past has not shaved off my love of them, where usually I grow less fond of older pictures, and I used pretty much every art program I had.
In case you missed it, there’s two new collabs coming up, a Madoka and Ib book in a few months, due in March. http://doujinpress.tumblr.com/post/40358576222/doujinpress-collaboration-books So if you like either of those things, contribute and support! Thank you!
Got the first scene colored, layered, shaded and with a fitting background.
Taking a break on it because the point where I start moving and pivoting groups of symbols into a smooth loop is a headache that takes another 3-4 hours to do. I went into it with an emphasis on the illustration part so I’ll probably be using symbol swap over painstaking FBF like here: http://artwithoutprediction.tumblr.com/post/37642555051/kevinsano-reinked-and-tweened-my-spin-dash
Frame-by-frame of 24 FPS + 100 layers is a definite no go.
